Revo Commerce Privacy Policy
Effective: 6 September 2026 · Last updated: 6 September 2026
Applies to: revosolution.in and the Revo Commerce platform
Plain-English summary
– Revo Commerce is business software, used by manufacturing and retail companies (our “client businesses”) to run their orders, production, and customer communication.
– We handle WhatsApp messages, contact details, and order data on behalf of the client business you’re messaging — not for our own marketing or advertising.
– Your data is never shared across client businesses — each one is kept in a separate, access-controlled space.
– We use a small number of specialist providers (Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, a payment gateway, cloud storage, and an AI assistant) strictly to deliver the service — see §5.
– You can ask any client business, or us directly, what data we hold about you and request its deletion — see §8.
1. Who we are
Revo Commerce is a business-management platform built and operated by RevoSolution (“Revo,” “we,” “us”), based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Revo Commerce is a multi-tenant SaaS platform: each of our customers (“client business,” “tenant”) is a company — for example a food or gifting manufacturer — that uses Revo Commerce to run sales orders, production, dispatch, invoicing, and customer communication over WhatsApp.
This policy describes how we handle data as the software provider. If you are a customer of one of our client businesses (for example, you’ve ordered from them or messaged them on WhatsApp), the client business is the one responsible for its relationship with you; we process your data on their behalf, under their instructions, as their data processor.
2. Data we collect
– WhatsApp messages — message text, media, delivery/read receipts, timestamps (sent between a client business and its customer, via Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform)
– Contact details — WhatsApp number, name, delivery address (provided by the customer, or entered by the client business)
– Order & commercial data — orders, pricing, invoices, payment status, production batches, dispatch records, complaints (generated by the client business’s own use of the platform)
– Account data — staff login email, role, session activity (provided by the client business’s own staff)
– Technical data — IP address, browser type, authentication tokens (collected automatically when the platform is used)
3. How we use it
We use this data strictly to operate the platform on behalf of the client business, specifically to:
– Deliver WhatsApp messages: order confirmations, dispatch/delivery updates, payment reminders, and replies from the client business’s staff.
– Run the self-service ordering menu, so a customer can browse a catalogue, place an order, or track a delivery over WhatsApp without creating an account.
– Interpret free-text ordering messages using an AI assistant (see §5) to draft a structured order — the client business always confirms the final price and order before it is placed; the AI never finalizes a commercial transaction.
– Generate invoices and order documents, process payments, and maintain the audit trail a business needs for its own accounting and tax compliance.
– Secure the platform (authentication, fraud/abuse prevention) and maintain/improve its reliability.
We do not use customer data for our own advertising, and we do not sell data to third parties.
4. WhatsApp specifics
Revo operates as a Meta Tech Provider: each client business connects its own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) to Revo Commerce, and messages are sent and received through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform under that client business’s own number. Meta’s handling of message content is separately governed by WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy (https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy).
Per WhatsApp’s policy, a client business may only message a customer outside an active conversation using a Meta-approved message template, and free-form replies are only permitted within the 24-hour window after a customer’s last message.
5. Sharing & sub-processors
Data belonging to one client business is never visible to another client business — this is enforced both in our application logic and at the database level (row-level security), not just by convention. We share data only with the following categories of service providers, solely to deliver the platform:
– Meta Platforms, Inc. — WhatsApp Business Platform, to send/receive messages.
– Cloud storage providers — to store generated documents (invoices, order confirmations) and product images.
– Anthropic — to power the AI ordering assistant that interprets free-text order messages into a structured draft.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Revo, a client business, or others.
6. Retention
We retain data for as long as the client business’s account is active, plus any period needed to meet accounting, tax, or audit obligations (typically dictated by Indian tax law for financial records such as invoices). A client business can request deletion of a specific customer’s data at any time, subject to what must legally be retained.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Every client business’s data is isolated behind tenant-scoped access controls enforced at both the application and database layer, so a request for one client business’s data cannot read another’s, even in the event of an application bug. Access to the platform requires authentication, and staff permissions are scoped to what each role needs.
8. Your rights
If you are a customer of one of our client businesses, you can ask that business directly, or contact us, to:
– Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
– Request correction of inaccurate data.
– Request deletion of your data, where we’re not required to keep it.
– Withdraw consent to being messaged, by replying “STOP” on WhatsApp or asking the client business directly.
Since the client business owns the customer relationship, requests are typically fastest when made directly to them — but we will action any request sent to us, forwarding it to the relevant client business where needed.
9. Children’s privacy
Revo Commerce is business software and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data about children through the platform.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above; continued use of Revo Commerce after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
